Dr. Hochberg

Dr. Michael Hochberg is originally from Western Pennsylvania, growing up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Dr. Hochberg attended the University of Pittsburgh, earning a B.A. degree in Economics in 1993.  He continued his educational pursuits at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, earning a DMD degree in 1998. Upon graduation from dental school Dr. Hochberg completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  This one year post-graduate residency concentrated on treating medically compromised patients.

After spending the initial years of his career in private practice in Ohio, Dr. Hochberg relocated to New Hampshire in late 2002, following two of his three brothers, who moved to New Hampshire with their families during the 1990's.

Dr. Hochberg, like many of his colleagues, is a firm believer in continuing education.  He has participated in numerous courses each year over the nearly twenty years that he has been practicing dentistry.

Although Dr. Hochberg was initially drawn to the field of dentistry for various reasons including helping patients achieve a healthy oral environment, utilization of technology, and daily problem solving, he has found over the course of his career that he values most the daily social interactions with a wide variety of patients.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Hochberg enjoys spending his free time traveling back home to Western Pennsylvania to be near family, and to South Carolina for golfing and fishing.  He also enjoys reading biographies, attempting to exercise, and eating Sal's pizza.
